Individual skill. Live competition. Real game decisions.
Small group sessions are still built around individual skill development, with one added advantage: other players on the floor. Athletes work on ball handling, finishing, footwork and shooting, in a setting that lets Jorden break down real game situations: one-on-one, two-on-two and up to three-on-three.
Every session follows the JPBA Method, so every phase has a reason.
02 | Dynamic Warm-Up: syncing upper body with lower body through ball-handling and footwork biomechanics, priming the movement patterns the session builds on.
03 | Ball Handling and Cognition: handle work paired with live reads, so your eyes stay up under pressure.
04 | Finishing and Decision Making: finishing through contact and off either foot while reading the defender.
05 | Shooting and Decision Making: shooting off the catch and off the dribble inside live actions.
These small-sided games and scenario breakdowns cover offence and defence. Offensive concepts like pick-and-rolls sit alongside defensive principles at every level, from individual on-ball defence to two-on-two and three-on-three team defence.
Some things are hard to recreate alone. In a small group, skills are tested against live pressure, defenders and real decisions, while the session stays focused on development.
Players who want individual skill development with live defenders, competition, decision-making and the energy of training with others. It’s also a strong first step into the JPBA pathway.
No wasted reps. The same sequences pros run. Nothing left to chance. Every phase has a reason, aimed at where your game needs to go.
We talk through your training goals and align on the key points of emphasis for you, so every rep in the session has a reason behind it.
Syncing upper body with lower body as we work through ball-handling and footwork biomechanics, priming the movement patterns the rest of the session builds on.
Handle work paired with live reads, so the ball stays an extension of you under pressure and your eyes stay up, processing the floor instead of the ball.
Finishing through contact and off either foot while reading the defender, so you take the right angle to the rim at game speed instead of forcing one look.
Shooting off the catch and off the dribble inside live actions, so the shot holds up against a closeout and translates to real game reads.
